QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha, July 07 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 0.14% at the start of Tuesday's trading, losing 14.48 points to reach 10,252 points, under pressure from four sectors.
The market data showed gains in the sectors of Transportation (+0.26%), Insurance (+0.20%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.12%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services (-0.15%), Telecoms (-0.25%), and Industrials (-0.50%).
At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 2,697 transactions worth QR 39.011آ million, distributed across 15.880آ million shares. (QNA)
