4th ‘Business Continuity & Resilience Conference’ Slated for November 27

The fourth edition of the ‘Business Continuity & Resilience Conference’ (BCRC), scheduled for November 27 in Doha under the theme ‘Smart Solutions & AI’, will explore the role of smart solutions and artificial intelligence in reshaping business continuity and resilience strategies.

The conference will convene leading national and international experts in business continuity, organisational resilience, and risk management in Qatar, propelling the momentum of previous editions, which gathered over 130 Qatari companies and institutions represented by business owners, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and resilience experts.

Under the theme ‘Business Continuity & Resilience – Smart Solutions and AI’, the conference embodies Qatar’s unwavering commitment to cultivating a business ecosystem that does not just endure challenges but uses them as catalysts for innovation, growth, and competitive advantage.

“We stand at a pivotal moment where AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics are fundamentally transforming how organisations approach risk. These technologies empower businesses to move beyond reactive crisis management to proactive resilience.

“This is the new frontier of organisational resilience that we will explore together,” stated BCRC 2025 president, Engineer Abdullatif Ali al-Yafei, who noted that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is the conference’s ‘Strategic Partner’.

More than just a dialogue, the conference “is a call to action,” according to al-Yafei, who emphasised that Qatar’s business leaders “must move beyond continuity plans that simply maintain operations and instead build intelligent systems that propel their organisations forward through disruption,” al-Yafei further pointed out.

He said BCRC 2025 is expected to convene over 500 professionals from more than 20 sectors, including energy, transport, finance, healthcare, ICT, and critical infrastructure, among others.

The conference will focus on empowering organisations to withstand disruptions and emerge stronger through cutting-edge technologies, particularly AI; exploring the transformative potential of smart solutions and AI in revolutionising traditional approaches to risk management, disaster recovery, and crisis response; and equipping organisations with knowledge and tools to anticipate, mitigate, and recover from disruptions.

It will also ensure a sustainable and resilient future for Qatar by enhancing the ability of organisations to navigate uncertainty with confidence and maintain operational excellence, in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

More than 24 consultants, experts, and practitioners will be invited to participate in the panel discussion, which will cover a wide range of general and specialised topics related to risk mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery, including the following: ‘How AI in Redefining Business Continuity and Risk Management’, ‘Integrating Technology & Sustainability for Resilient Smart Cities Operations’, ‘Leveraging Technologies to Optimise Supply Chain Operations and Logistics’, and ‘Resilient Strategies for the Financial Sector’.

The conference will also honour leading institutions and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in resilience and continuity in the following categories of the National Excellence Awards 2025: ‘Provider of Continuity and Resilience 2025’, ‘Newcomer to National Continuity and Resilience 2025’, ‘Continuity and Resilience Specialist (Public Sector) 2025’, ‘Continuity and Resilience Specialist (Private Sector) 2025’, ‘More Effective National Recovery 2025’, and the ‘National Resilience Programme 2025.
