The implementation of cutting-edge fibre technology will play a key role in Vodafone Qatar’s digital advancement, according to chief technology officer Ramy Boctor.
In an interview with Gulf Times , Boctor stated that the initiative is a key part of Vodafone Qatar’s broadband capacity strategy, with a near-term potential to deliver speeds of up to 25Gbps and the ability to scale up to 50Gbps in the future.
According to Boctor, this network upgrade will revolutionise the digital capabilities of both individual consumers and enterprise clients, characterised by fast Internet connectivity that supports various bandwidth-intensive applications.
He said, “Consumers will benefit from smoother streaming of high-definition content and instantaneous downloads. Businesses will gain access to seamless and reliable cloud computing services, enabling greater efficiency and scalability in their operations.
