Al Abdulghani Motors, the authorized distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Qatar, participated in the second edition of the Autonomous e-Mobility Forum (AEMOB Forum 2026) as a Silver Sponsor. The forum was held on 7 and 8 September 2026 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC)in Doha.
The forum brought together government entities, policymakers, experts, and leaders from the transport and technology sectors to discuss the future of electric and autonomous mobility, while exploring the latest trends in innovation, smart infrastructure, and policies supporting sustainable transport systems.
As part of its participation, Al Abdulghani Motors showcased the Lexus RZ 500e, the first Lexus battery electric SUV introduced in Qatar, alongside the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV.
Purpose-built as a dedicated battery electric vehicle, the RZ 500e features a redesigned BEV system, extended driving range, reduced charging time, and Lexus’ DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system, reflecting Al Abdulghani Motors’ continued commitment to introducing advanced mobility solutions to the market.
Samer Al Saleh, National Sales Director at Al Abdulghani Motors, also joined a panel discussion on electric mobility, where he shared the company’s perspective on dealer network readiness, customer trust, aftersales capabilities, long-term vehicle support, and the evolving role of distributors as connected vehicle technologies and in-car digital systems continue to advance.
During the discussion, Al Saleh noted that Qatar’s transport sector is witnessing rapid development, with growing interest in electric and smart mobility solutions. He highlighted that the transition toward electric mobility goes beyond introducing new vehicles and depends on building an integrated ecosystem that includes trained teams, aftersales readiness, customer awareness, dependable support, and the right infrastructure to help customers adopt new technologies with confidence.
