Aqarat: Real Estate Transactions Concentrated in 2025's Most Active Categories

Doha, July 08 (QNA) - Data released by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) showed that real estate sales transactions in 2025 continued to be concentrated in the most actively traded property categories, reflecting the market's dynamism, stable demand, and the importance of these segments in supporting the growth and attractiveness of Qatar's real estate sector.
In a post published today on the X platform, the authority revealed that transactions involving vacant land, villas, and apartments accounted for a combined 93.6 percent of all real estate sales in 2025. Vacant land represented the largest share at 34.4 percent, followed by villas at 33.4 percent and apartments at 29.4 percent, while all other property categories accounted for the remaining 6.4 percent.
The authority said this concentration reflects continued strong demand for these three property categories and highlights their central role in enhancing the appeal of Qatar's real estate market, helping attract investment and support the sector's sustainable growth.
The release of these figures is part of the authority's ongoing efforts to monitor and analyze market activity and provide accurate indicators that support both policymakers and investors. (QNA)
