CLARRIO was chosen among the 10 pre-qualified startups that delivered live pitches to a panel of judges at the 2nd Qatar Investment and Innovation conference, organised by The Business Year, in partnership with Msheireb Properties, with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) as strategic partner.
A highlight of this year's conference was the AI (artificial intelligence) for Good Innovation Challenge, hosted in collaboration with the AI for Good initiative YAILs and its Doha chapter. Ten pre-qualified startups, each with solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, delivered live pitches to a panel of judges.
The winner, CLARRIO, received the opportunity to attend the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva, alongside fast-track access to select international and local accelerator programmes. The award was presented by Faisal al-Malki, chief operating officer of Msheireb Properties.
The challenge reinforced Qatar's commitment to positioning itself as a regional leader in responsible artificial intelligence while showcasing how emerging technologies can address real-world challenges in sustainability, digital transformation, and social impact.
