Companies Dole Out Offers on Eid Al Adha

As Eid Al Adha celebration commences in the country, companies and showrooms have launched special deals and offers to make the festival memorable for citizens and expatriates. Offers include discounts on apparels, gold jewellery, food and beverages and gift items.

“Eid is always an important time for the jewellery showrooms because sales increase during this period as customers look for new designs of jewellery,” a sales executive told The Peninsula. People are allowed to enter by showing green status of Ehteraz and vaccination and must wear a face mask, he added. 

A gram of 24-carat gold was trading at QR223 while 22-carat gold was trading at QR210.5 yesterday.  A sales executive from another gold showroom said, during Eid Al Adha we have 20 percent discount on gold jewellery making charge and 25 percent off on diamond jewellery for a limited period.
