
Dubai’s biggest lender, Emirates NBD, posted second-quarter 2026 net profit of AED6.4 billion ($1.7 billion) unchanged from Q1.
The effort beat analysts’ mean estimate of AED6.1 billion, according to LSEG data.
For the first half of 2026, net profit edged up 3% year-on-year (YoY) to AED12.9 billion.
Total income in H1 grew 16% to AED 27.9 billion, while impairment allowance rose to AED1.4 billion.
Emirates NBD, majority-owned by Dubai's government, has total assets of AED1.32 trillion as of June 20, 22% higher YoY.
Emirates NBD’s Islamic banking subsidiary, Emirates Islamic Bank, posted a net profit of AED 1.7 billion in H1 and operating profit of AED 2.2 billion.
