Finance Minister Meets Georgian Counterpart, Hong Kong SAR Financial Secretary

Doha, September 27 (QNA) - HE Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, met with HE Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili, during his current visit to Doha for the 2026 Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Annual Meeting.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations in relevant fields and explored joint work between the two countries and key developments in economy, investment and trade.

HE Minister of Finance also met with Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), Paul Chan Mo-po, who is visiting Doha for the 2026 AIIB Annual Meeting.

The meeting with the Financial Secretary covered cooperation relations and ways of strengthening them in investment, finance, and economy, in addition to discussing several topics of mutual interest. (QNA)
