The Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC Qatar) celebrated the landmark 50th session of its flagship “Monday Bites” platform in Doha, marking a significant milestone in one of the Indian community’s most dynamic professional networking and knowledge-sharing initiatives in Qatar.
Held under the theme “The Golden 50: The Mini Bites Encore,” the special edition brought together a distinguished lineup of speakers from Sessions 26 to 49, each delivering concise and impactful three-minute presentations that reflected the spirit of innovation, leadership, resilience, learning and professional excellence that has defined the Monday Bites journey.
The event was attended by Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India in Doha and Coordinating Officer for IBPC, as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he lauded IBPC’s continued efforts in strengthening professional engagement and fostering meaningful collaboration within the Indian expatriate community in Qatar.
He commended the organisation for creating vibrant platforms that encourage learning, networking, exchange of ideas and community-driven professional growth.
The session was moderated by IBPC Qatar President Thaha Muhammed Abdul Kareem, who reflected on the remarkable progress achieved through the successful completion of 50 Monday Bites sessions alongside several other impactful IBPC initiatives.
He noted that what began as a simple professional engagement initiative had evolved into a vibrant ecosystem for learning, strategic networking, collaboration and future readiness for business owners and professionals.
The 50th session also served as a reflection on the 24 sessions conducted following the landmark Silver Jubilee 25th Session celebrated on September 8, 2025.
Over the course of 50 sessions, Monday Bites featured 40 expert speakers covering a wide range of topics including leadership, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, communication, sustainability, resilience, emotional intelligence, cybersecurity, digital transformation, business strategy, career readiness and personal development.
Collectively, the sessions attracted more than 2,250 participants, including entrepreneurs, executives, business owners and professionals, highlighting the growing demand for high-quality professional development and collaborative networking platforms within the Indian community in Qatar.
A major highlight of the evening was the announcement of the upcoming “IBPC AI Advantage Certification” programme, a free and exclusive AI transformation initiative for IBPC members.
Designed as a practical and implementation-focused learning experience, the programme aims to equip professionals, entrepreneurs and business leaders with hands-on capabilities in AI applications, workflow automation, productivity enhancement, strategic execution and digital acceleration.
The initiative reflects IBPC’s commitment to ensuring that its members remain future-ready and competitively positioned in an increasingly AI-driven global economy.
IBPC invited interested members to register for the programme and begin their AI transformation journey, helping them move beyond AI awareness towards practical implementation and smarter business practices.
The organisation also expressed gratitude to all speakers who contributed their expertise and experiences throughout the Monday Bites journey, enriching the platform and inspiring participants across industries and professions.
During the event, IBPC recognised dedicated volunteers who contributed to various IBPC programmes and community initiatives. Certificates of appreciation were presented in recognition of their commitment and valuable service to the community.
