The Investment Promotion Agency of Qatar (Invest Qatar) and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) discussed ways to deepen co-operation between the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of China in the investment field.
This came as the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Promotion Agency of Qatar (Invest Qatar) Sheikh Ali Alwaleed al-Thani and his accompanying delegation met with the Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Ren Hongbin in Beijing.
The discussions centred on opportunities to deepen co-operation between Qatar and China in the investment field, strengthen exchanges between China and the GCC region, and bolster international co-operation in industrial and supply chains.
The meeting is a key engagement of Invest Qatar's ongoing high-level business roadshow, held in collaboration with Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ).
The roadshow features extensive engagements across key Asian markets including China and Japan, aiming to showcase Qatar's diverse investment opportunities and foster stronger ties with international investors, business leaders and key stakeholders.
