Investment and Trade Court Highlights Role in Swift Justice

The Investment and Trade Court participated in a workshop at Qatar University (QU) highlighting the role of judicial specialisation, efficient dispute resolution and digital transformation in strengthening Qatar’s investment and commercial climate.

Organised by QU’s Career Development Center in collaboration with the College of Law, the workshop examined how judicial specialisation can improve the quality of judgments and expedite the resolution of commercial and investment disputes.

The discussions covered the various stages of cases before the court, including the role of the case management office in preparing cases for adjudication and facilitating efficient proceedings.

Participants also explored the contribution of digital transformation and electronic services to streamlining litigation procedures, improving judicial operations and enhancing access to judicial services.

The workshop brought together judges and legal researchers from the court, QU faculty members and law students, reinforcing cooperation between the Supreme Judiciary Council and academic institutions and bridging the gap between legal education and practical judicial experience.
