The price of Kuwaiti crude oil dropped by $1.36, settling at $70.61 per barrel in Friday's trading, down from $71.97 the previous day, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
Meanwhile, in global markets, Brent crude futures rose by $1.72 to $70.63 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures increased by $1.88, reaching $68.45 per barrel.
