Lulu Hypermarket Qatar and Qatar Charity have renewed their strategic partnership for the 9th consecutive year, reaffirming their shared commitment to humanitarian initiatives with a special focus on the Holy Month of Ramadan 2026.
This long-standing collaboration strengthens Lulu Hypermarket Qatar’s role as a key member of Qatar Charity’s Charity Partner (CP) programme and highlights its continued support for Qatar Charity’s Ramadan campaign under the slogan “Good Starts With You”, through the impactful ‘Shop & Donate’ initiative.
Ramadan, a season defined by compassion, unity, and generosity, remains central to this partnership.
Over the past nine years, both organizations have worked closely to extend meaningful assistance to vulnerable communities, reflecting Qatar Charity’s mission to deliver essential humanitarian aid while aligning with Lulu Qatar’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and community welfare.
Under the renewed agreement, Lulu will leverage its extensive marketing platforms to further enhance awareness of the Charity Partner programme, encouraging increased engagement from businesses and institutions in charitable initiatives.
As part of the Ramadan campaign, Lulu Hypermarket will contribute a designated amount to Qatar Charity, including proceeds generated through the ‘Shop & Donate’ campaign. Now marking its 9th year, ‘Shop & Donate’ features a curated selection of more than 1,200 supermarket and department store products, with a portion of sales dedicated to Qatar Charity’s “Good Starts With You” initiative ensuring vital support reaches those most in need.
The official signing ceremony took place at the Lulu Regional Office in Doha, where the agreement was signed by Amer Mohammed AlBesiri, Head of the collection Donor Relations department at Qatar Charity, andShanavas Padiyath, Regional Director of Lulu Hypermarket Qatar. Speaking on the occasion, Amer expressed his appreciation for Lulu Qatar’s continued partnership over the past nine years, emphasizing the important role of corporate institutions in supporting humanitarian causes, particularly during Ramadan.
