Minister of Finance Meets With a Number of Senior Global Economic and Financial Leaders in Paris

Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held a series of high-level meetings with senior global economic and financial leaders during his visit to France, discussing ways to strengthen cooperation in investment, finance and the broader economy.

Al Kuwari met Jean Lemierre, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BNP Paribas, where both sides reviewed cooperation ties and explored prospects for expanding collaboration in investment, finance and economic sectors, along with other topics of mutual interest.

In a separate meeting, the minister met Slavomir Krupa, Chief Executive Officer of Société Générale. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening partnerships across financial and economic fields, in addition to addressing a range of shared interests.

Al Kuwari also met Pierre-André Imbert, Secretary-General of the Élysée Palace, during which they discussed key issues of common interest between Qatar and France, particularly in the economic and financial sectors.

The meeting also reviewed strategies and mechanisms to further strengthen joint cooperation between the two countries and support broader bilateral relations.
