Minister of Finance Meets With Senior Officials and Leaders of Global Financial Institutions

Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met with a number of senior officials and leaders of global financial and economic institutions on the sidelines of the special edition of the Qatar Economic Forum, held in conjunction with the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. 

The meetings included separate discussions with Mohamed Kande, Global Chairman of PwC, and Mark Coombs, Chief Executive Officer of Ashmore Group. The meetings focused on reviewing existing cooperation and exploring prospects for further strengthening collaboration in the fields of investment, finance and economics, inaddition to a number of matters of mutual interest.
