Minister of Finance Participates in Panel Discussion at Qatar Economic Forum in New York

New York, September 20 (QNA) - HE Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari participated in the panel discussion entitled "The Discipline Dividend: Reserves, Capital and Resilience", held during the Qatar Economic Forum Powered by Bloomberg: UNGA Special Edition 2026.

The session addressed key challenges facing the global financial system, including elevated levels of debt and inflation, trade tensions and market volatility.

It also explored ways to sustain investment and strengthen financial and economic resilience amid rapid global transformations and increasing fragmentation in the global economy.

HE the Minister of Finance emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen the soundness and sustainability of the financial system and supporting long-term investment, contributing to the development of more resilient economies capable of addressing global challenges and changing circumstances.

International cooperation and coordinated efforts remain key pillars in promoting stability and sustainable growth, His Excellency highlighted. (QNA)
