Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs Meets UK Minister of State for Trade

Doha, October 14 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed met today via video conference with HE Minister of State for Trade at the UK's Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade Lord Anas Sarwar.

The meeting dealt with discussing Economic and trade relations between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom, ways to expand and diversify trade and investment cooperation, and the opening of new avenues to strengthen economic and trade partnerships, particularly in sectors of mutual interest.

The two sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation to advance joint efforts, foster constructive and fruitful cooperation between Qatari and British investors and companies, and encourage mutual investments to support trade, serving shared interests, and enhancing the prospects for a promising partnership between the two friendly nations.
