Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani conducted a comprehensive field visit on Wednesday to several retail outlets across Qatar as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to monitor market conditions and ensure the continuous availability of essential goods and products for consumers.
During the visit, the minister closely reviewed the availability of various products at the retail outlets and verified that sufficient stocks are maintained in both stores and warehouses.
The inspections aimed to ensure that supply chains are operating efficiently, guaranteeing the uninterrupted flow of goods to meet consumer demand.
Sheikh Faisal affirmed that supply and distribution chains across the country are functioning smoothly and normally, noting that the ministry’s relevant departments are continuously monitoring market activity and stock levels in close coordination with suppliers and retail outlets.
This approach, he said, is instrumental in maintaining market stability and ensuring the availability of essential goods for all consumers.
The minister also expressed sincere appreciation to all government entities involved in market monitoring, as well as to factories, suppliers, and retail outlets for their ongoing efforts to provide a steady and reliable supply of goods.
