Ministry of Finance Hosts Reception for 2026 AIIB Annual Meeting Participants

Doha, September 27 (QNA) - The Ministry of Finance hosted a reception at the Museum of Islamic Art on Sunday, on the eve of the 11th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), commencing here tomorrow.

At the reception, HE Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari welcomed HE President of AIIB, Zou Jiayi and her accompanying delegation.

HE the Ministry of Finance highlighted the importance of hosting this major event, which brings together senior officials, policymakers, and representatives of financial and economic institutions from AIIB member countries.

The reception was attended by a lineup of Their Excellencies, Ministers and senior officials, as well as heads and representatives of financial and economic institutions and participants in the 2026 AIIB Annual Meeting.

The Annual Meeting provides an important platform for strengthening cooperation in the fields of development, investment, and infrastructure, and for discussing issues related to supporting economic growth and sustainable development across member countries. (QNA)
