Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has reaffirmed its commitment to uninterrupted public service delivery, announcing that it continues to provide more than 500 services through its official website and mobile application, enabling customers and business owners to complete transactions quickly, efficiently and remotely.
In a post published on its official account on X, the ministry said it offers integrated digital services around the clock to ensure business continuity and facilitate procedures for clients across the country. The 24/7 availability of these services reflects the ministry’s broader strategy to enhance accessibility, reduce processing times and strengthen the digital infrastructure supporting Qatar’s commercial ecosystem.
According to the ministry, the comprehensive online platform allows users to access a wide range of services from anywhere, significantly reducing the need for in-person visits to service centres. This includes key transactions related to commercial registration, licensing, company amendments, renewals, permits and other regulatory requirements essential for entrepreneurs and investors.
By shifting a substantial portion of its operations to digital channels, the ministry aims to streamline procedures, minimise paperwork and improve overall efficiency. The approach not only saves time and operational costs for businesses but also supports the State’s wider digital transformation agenda, which seeks to modernise government services and promote innovation-driven growth.
The ministry emphasised that the integrated system is designed to ensure seamless user experiences, secure transactions and reliable service delivery. Through continuous upgrades and system enhancements, it has expanded the scope and functionality of its digital offerings to meet evolving business needs.
The announcement comes at a time when public institutions across the region are prioritising service continuity amid ongoing regional tensions. By maintaining fully operational online services, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry underlines its readiness to support the private sector and safeguard economic activity regardless of external challenges.
