
Doha, July 21 (QNA) - Qatar Gas Transport Company Limited (Nakilat) reported net profits of QR 856.96 million during the first half of 2026, compared to QR 859.63 million during the same period last year, thus recording a decrease of 0.31 percent.
Financial data published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website today showed that earnings per share fell to QR 0.15 during the period ending on Jun. 30, compared to earnings per share of QR 0.16 for the same period of the previous year.
CEO of the company Eng. Abdullah Al Sulaiti commented on the results and said that "In light of the current situation in the region and its impact on business performance, our Marine Services segment was significantly affected, with ship repair, shipping agency, and towage services experiencing a noticeable decline."
He added that, despite these challenges, the company continued to fulfil its strategic role in providing LNG shipping services to customers, highlighting that Nakilat took decisive cost-control measures to maintain stability in core operations while ensuring the highest levels of fleet reliability.
