The value of real estate transactions registered with Qatar’s Ministry of Justice reached QR1.692 billion in June, with 541 property deals completed during the month, reflecting continued momentum in the country’s property market.
According to the ministry’s monthly real estate market bulletin, Doha, Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah recorded the highest transaction values.
Doha led the market with QR649.1 million in property sales, followed by Al Rayyan at QR418.4 million and Al Wakrah at QR236.2 million.
Al Daayen recorded transactions worth QR159.6 million, Umm Salal QR121.5 million, Al Khor and Al Thakhira QR79.9 million, Al Shamal QR24.7 million, and Al Sheehaniya QR2.65 million.
In terms of trading activity, Al Rayyan accounted for 34 percent of the total land area traded, followed by Doha with 21 percent and Al Wakrah with 20 percent. Al Rayyan and Doha each represented 25 percent of all property transactions, while Al Wakrah accounted for 23 percent. The ministry also noted that five of the 10 highest-value property sales recorded during June were in Doha, with three in Al Rayyan and one each in Al Daayen and Umm Salal.
Mortgage activity remained robust, with 109 mortgage transactions worth QR3.078 billion recorded during the month. Doha accounted for the largest share by both number and value of mortgages, while 150 residential unit transactions valued at QR232.7 million were completed, marking an increase compared with May.
The Ministry of Justice said the figures underscore the continued growth of Qatar’s real estate sector, supported by active investment, commercial activity and recent legislative reforms aimed at enhancing market transparency and attracting both domestic and foreign investment.
