Qatar Chamber recently concluded the activities of its ‘2025 Summer Innovation Camp’ with the participation of 70 trainees at its Lusail headquarters.
The camp, organised by the Young Entrepreneurs Club under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in collaboration with Qatar Chamber, was supported by Qatar Development Bank (QDB), hosted by Qatar University, and featured Snoonu as the Innovation Partner.
The event offered a wide range of workshops and activities focused on startups, in addition to career exploration sessions designed for high school and university students.
The camp’s activities were hosted across several venues, including the Qatar Business Incubation Centre (QBIC) and Qatar University, and also featured a site visit to a factory supported by QDB.
The programme aimed to foster entrepreneurial and innovative thinking among youth by providing an interactive educational environment for shaping ideas and developing entrepreneurial projects. It further sought to enhance leadership and teamwork skills, promote effective communication and critical thinking, and offer valuable networking opportunities with entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
The camp is a comprehensive educational and training programme that blends applied learning with practical engagement in an integrated entrepreneurial environment.
It aimed to empower youth, refine their skills, foster creativity, and build an entrepreneurial generation capable of driving innovation.
Serving as a national platform, it combines practical knowledge with real-world experience, helping school and university students in Qatar develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
At the closing ceremony, participants received certificates of attendance. The final day also featured a career and employment fair, offering participants valuable opportunities to engage directly with startups, entrepreneurs, and industry experts from various sectors.
Fatima Issa al-Kuwari, head of Training and Development at Qatar Chamber, said the event reflects the chamber’s commitment to supporting and empowering young people. She noted that the camp provided participants with a practical opportunity to engage with the business environment and gain insights that would inspire them in developing their future projects.
Abdulrahman al-Emadi, director of Administrative Affairs at the Young Entrepreneurs Club, said the camp’s scientific and practical activities, spanning one month, provided an integrated educational environment that enabled participants to develop their entrepreneurial skills while enhancing their capacity for innovation and teamwork.
