Qatar Chamber Holds Workshops To Strengthen Corporate Communication Skills

As part of its efforts to develop professional skills and enhance capabilities, Qatar Chamber recently organised two specialised training programmes and workshops in the fields of corporate social responsibility and corporate communication.

In this context, the Chamber, in cooperation with the Regional Consulting Network, a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, organised the training programme “Training of Trainers in Corporate Social Responsibility”, with the participation of trainees from a number of Arab countries.The programme was delivered by Prof. Dr Ali Al Ibrahim, an expert in corporate social responsibility, and covered several topics related to CSR concepts, tools, training methods and knowledge transfer in this field.

The Chamber also organised a workshop entitled “Be the Voice of Your Organisation”, delivered by Ms Marwa Al-Busaidi, a public relations and communications expert, with the aim of developing the media skills of public relations and corporate communications professionals.

The workshop covered media communication skills, on-camera and microphone presentation, and engagement with digital platforms and media outlets, helping participants represent their organisations professionally and strengthen their media presence.
