Qatar Electricity & Water Co.: The EGM Endorses Items on It's Agenda

Qatar Electricity & Water Co. announces the results of the EGM. The meeting was held on 08/01/2026 and the following resolution were approved 1. Approve the proposed change of the Company Commercial Name “Qatar Electricity and Water” to “Nebras Energy” subject to obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals within (12) months from the date of issuance this resolution, and authorize the Chairman of the Board, or whoever is authorize by him to take all the necessary actions to execute this resolution, including: - Adopting or implementing any amendment to the new name, new logo (“New Logo”), new trademark (“New Trademark”), new domain name, website, or email addresses (“New Website”), and any other necessary amendments or changes, including any amendments to the names of the Company’s subsidiaries (“New Subsidiary Names”). - Sign any agreements, applications, amendments, adjustment, authorizations, or any other documents required by any authority for the purpose of adopting the company new name, logo, trademark, domain, website and this includes all the procedures necessary to amend the Articles of Association of the company and its subsidiaries, which reflect the new company name with the relevant authorities. 2. Approval to amend the company’s articles of association in accordance with Law No. 11 of 2015 issuing the Commercial Companies Law, as amended by Law No. 8 of 2021 and its amendments, and the decision of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority No. 5 of 2025 concerning the issuance of Governance code for Listed Companies. and authorize the Chairman of the Board, or whoever is authorize by him to take all the necessary actions to execute this resolution.
