The meeting focused on exploring ways to strengthen the framework of joint cooperation and further consolidate the long-standing bilateral relations between Qatar and France. Discussions also covered key investment opportunities and the latest economic developments of mutual interest to both countries.
During the roundtable, participants emphasised the importance of enhancing economic partnerships between Qatari and French institutions in a manner that supports sustainable investment growth and broadens prospects for cooperation across various strategic sectors.

The meeting brought together senior executives and influential business leaders representing major French companies with operations and partnerships in Qatar, highlighting the growing role of the private sector in advancing Qatar-France economic relations.
Speaking on the occasion, Al Kuwari underscored Qatar’s commitment to fostering an attractive investment climate and strengthening partnerships with international economic stakeholders, particularly French companies that have contributed significantly to major development projects in Qatar across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, transport, finance, technology, and services.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of maintaining continuous dialogue between business communities in both countries to identify new opportunities for cooperation and address evolving global economic challenges through strategic partnerships and innovation-driven initiatives.
It is worth noting that “Qadran” is an independent non-profit organisation established in 2015 to strengthen economic and commercial ties between Qatar and France.
Its membership includes leading Qatari commercial institutions operating in France alongside major French companies operating in Qatar, as well as prominent economic figures from both countries.
The organisation aims to organise annual academic, economic, and social events that promote dialogue and the exchange of perspectives between Qatari and French companies. It also serves as a platform for multilateral economic discussions involving senior officials, business leaders, and decision-makers from both sides, thereby contributing to the advancement of bilateral economic cooperation and strategic partnerships.
