
Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Company announces the results of the General Assembly meeting for the year 2024 and 2025. The meeting was held on 20 July 2026. Where the following were approved by a majority vote:
Agenda of the Ordinary General Assembly for the year 2024:
1- The Board of Director’s Report on the Company’s activities and its financial position for the financial year ended 31st December 2024 and the Company’s future plan;
2- The External Auditor’s Report for the financial year ended 31st December 2024;
3- The Company’s Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss accounts for the financial year ended 31st December 2024;
4- The Board of Director’s proposal not to distribute dividends for the financial year ended 31st December 2024;
5- Discharging the Members of the Board for the financial year ended 31st December 2024;
6- The Company’s Corporate Governance Report for the year 2024;
7- The appointment of Company’s external Auditors Messrs. Deloitte for the financial year 2025 with fees amounted QR 1,7 million.
Agenda of the Ordinary General Assembly for the year 2025:
1- The Board of Director’s Report on the Company’s activities and its financial position for the financial year ended 31st December 2025 and the Company’s future plan;
2- The External Auditor’s Report for the financial year ended 31st December 2025;
3- The Company’s Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss accounts for the financial year ended 31st December 2025;
4- The Board of Director’s proposal to distribute dividends to shareholders at a rate of (5%) five percent of the nominal value per share, equivalent to five dirhams per share;
5- Discharging the Members of the Board for the financial year ended 31st December 2025 and to not distribute remuneration;
6- The Company’s Corporate Governance Report for the year 2025;
7- The appointment of Company’s external Auditors Messrs. Deloitte for the financial year 2026 with fees amounted QR 1,925,000.
8- The members of the Board of Directors were elected for the term (2026–2028), as per the names listed in the attached statement.
Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Company will transfer the dividend amounts to EDAA for distribution. Accordingly, shareholders are kindly requested to contact EDAA regarding any matters related to the dividend distribution.
The process of counting all votes and shareholder’s voting percentages on the EGM agenda items is currently underway. The results of the EGM will be disclosed upon completion.
