Qatar, Korea Explore Ways To Boost Trade, Investment Ties

Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani met on Monday with Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea HE Dr Kim Jung-kwan, who is currently visiting the country. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation relations in the trade, investment, and industrial fields and discussed ways to further strengthen and develop them, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest. It is worth noting that the volume of trade exchange between Qatar and Korea reached approximately $8.44 billion in 2025. 

Korea ranked as Qatar’s fourth-largest trading partner during the same year. The Qatari market also includes 168 Korean and Qatari-Korean companies.
