Qatar, Moscow Export Centre Sign Deal To Boost Trade Ties

In a step aimed at strengthening economic and trade cooperation and opening new horizons for partnerships between the business communities of Qatar and the Russia, ITCE Group Qatar signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Moscow Export Center (MEC) during an official ceremony held in Moscow.

The agreement was signed on behalf of ITCE Group Qatar by Ismail Al Ansari, Chairman, and on behalf of the Russian side by Vitaly Andreevich Stepanov, CEO of the Moscow Export Center.

The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation between the two parties, supporting joint projects, creating favorable conditions for the development of business relations, facilitating market access, and strengthening direct engagement between companies and business communities.Areas of cooperation also include the exchange of information and expertise on economic and trade opportunities, support for business visits and delegations, the organization of trade and economic events, facilitating introductions between companies and representatives of relevant industries, and exploring market conditions and commercial opportunities.

Commenting on the signing, Ismail Al Ansari, Chairman of ITCE Group Qatar, emphasized the importance of the agreement in creating new channels of cooperation between the Qatari and Russian business communities and promoting greater engagement and partnership between companies in both countries.

Al Ansari said: “We are pleased to sign this Cooperation Agreement with the Moscow Export Center, and we extend our sincere appreciation to Vitaly Stepanov and the entire Moscow Export Center team for their warm welcome, support, cooperation and assistance throughout our visit to Moscow.

We believe there are promising opportunities to further strengthen economic and trade relations between Qatar and Russia, and that direct cooperation between institutions and companies in both countries can open new horizons for trade, investment and joint projects.”

He added: “We view this agreement as the beginning of a long-term partnership. We look forward to translating this cooperation into practical initiatives, direct engagement between Qatari and Russian business leaders and companies, and the exploration of new opportunities that serve our mutual interests and contribute to sustainable growth and cooperation.”

The signing of the agreement reflects ITCE Group Qatar’s commitment to expanding its international network and developing partnerships with economic and trade institutions, while supporting the international presence of Qatari businesses and creating new channels of cooperation with the Russian business community.

The agreement is expected to provide a platform for future cooperation through business delegations, trade events, business-to-business meetings, and the exchange of information and expertise, contributing to the continued development of economic and trade relations between the State of Qatar and the Russian Federation.
