Qatar Partakes in Extraordinary Joint Meeting of GCC Commercial, Industrial Cooperation Committees

Doha, June 28 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated on Sunday in the extraordinary joint meeting of the Commercial Cooperation Committee and the Industrial Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which was held via videoconference.

HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani chaired the State of Qatar's delegation at the meeting.

Their Excellencies the Ministers of Commerce and Industry of the GCC states attended the meeting, in addition to the GCC Secretary-General.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the agenda topics, particularly the importance of establishing strategic storage zones and building a joint Gulf system for food and other essential supplies, and making appropriate decisions and recommendations thereon. (QNA)
