Qatar Participates in 7th GCC Ministerial Meeting of Standing Preparatory Committee at EDA in Kuwait

HE Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, Minister of Finance, headed the delegation of Qatar participating in the seventh meeting of the Standing Preparatory Committee at the ministerial level of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority (EDA), held in Kuwait with the participation of the ministers of finance and economy of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) member states.

The meeting discussed a number of important topics related to strengthening co-operation among the GCC countries in the implementation of national economic visions as well as the activation of the roles and responsibilities of the EDA.

The roadmap for initiatives and projects aimed at achieving Gulf economic unity was also reviewed, along with the associated timeline, with an emphasis on ensuring alignment with the requirements of the coming phase.
