Qatar Real Estate Sales Rise 21.5% in 39th Week

Data from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) showed that the value of real estate sales transactions in Qatar rose 21.5 percent week over week to QR654.4 million during Sept. 20-26, the 39th week of 2026.

A total of 133 sales transactions were recorded, down 5 percent week over week and 9.5 percent year over year. Villas accounted for the largest share of sales at QR291.7 million, followed by vacant land at QR268.3 million and buildings at QR65.5 million.

Al Rayyan led sales by value at QR215.9 million, followed by Doha at QR208.1 million and Al Daayen at QR108.2 million.

Mortgage transactions totalled 29, with their value rising 18.9 percent week over week and 166.5 percent year over year to QR978.9 million. 

Towers accounted for QR845 million of the total, followed by villas at QR92 million and vacant land at QR35 million.

Meanwhile, 499 rental contracts worth QR6.07 million were recorded during the week. Rental value fell 44.4 percent week over week and 73.1 percent year over year, while the number of contracts declined 54.8 percent and 69.5 percent, respectively.

Villas accounted for QR2.5 million of rental value, followed by apartments at QR2.45 million. Doha recorded the highest rental value at QR2.6 million, followed by Al Rayyan at QR2.2 million and Al Wakrah at QR0.4 million.
