Qatar Stock Exchange Index Closes Higher

Doha, August 05 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading session higher by 89.24 points, or 0.88 percent, reaching 10,181.82 points.
A total of 158,582,344 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 389,571,451.952 through 24,463 transactions across all sectors.
The shares of 36 companies advanced, while those of 13 other companies declined, with the shares of four companies remaining unchanged.
Market capitalization at the close of trading stood at QAR 611,603,952,356.872 compared to QAR 605,829,844,051.646 in the previous session. (QNA)
