Qatar Stock Exchange Index Closes Lower

Doha, October 04 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange Index closed lower on Sunday, falling 6.81 points, or 0.07 percent, to 9,185.43.

A total of 140,454,142 shares changed hands during the session, with trading value reaching QR 257,351,048.104 through 14,155 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 21 companies rose, while those of 27 others fell. Five companies ended unchanged from their previous closing prices.

Market capitalization stood at QR 556,985,360,051.536 at the end of the session, compared with QR 556,451,178,619.448 in the previous session. (QNA)
