Qatar Stock Exchange Index Closes Lower

Doha, July 19 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Sunday's trading session down 148.38 points, or 1.47%, to settle at 9,954.84 points.

A total of 127,630,498 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QR 322,968,485.121 across 30,594 transactions in all sectors.

Shares of eight companies advanced, while 44 companies ended the session lower.

Market capitalization at the close of trading stood at QR 597,832,873,602.256, compared with QR 608,820,631,434.920 in the previous session. (QNA)
