Qatar Stock Exchange Index Closes Lower on Thursday

Doha, July 23 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Thursday's trading session down by 34.03 points, or 0.34 percent, to settle at 10,032.48 points.

A total of 119,993,044 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 312,939,689.032 through 27,157 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of eight companies advanced, while 37 companies recorded losses and four companies closed unchanged.

Market capitalization at the close of trading stood at QAR 604,186,628,815.868, compared with QAR 601,901,352,154.610 in the previous session. (QNA)
