Qatar Stock Exchange: Week in Review September 7- September 11, 2025


The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a mixed performance in the week of September 7- September 11, 2025. The total trading value decreased by 1.8% to QAR 1,608 million, compared to the previous week's worth of QAR 1,683 million. The QE index made a minor change to 11,093.43  compared to 11,131.12  at the beginning of the week.

MARKET LIQUIDITY

The total trading value on the QSE amounted to QAR 1,608 million, experiencing a 34% Decrease compared to the previous week's value of QAR 11,227 million. 22 companies increased their traded value, while 29 companies experienced a reduction.

INSIDER TRADING

Insider purchases grew significantly this week, totaling QAR 806,216. This marks a staggering 59.32% decrease compared to the previous week's total of QAR 1,981,977.

Insider sales on the QSE for the same week were at a negligible level of QAR 1,524,463 and reported an almost full drop compared to the insider sales reported in the preceding week, which were QAR 1,443,655.

QE INDEX PERFORMANCE

The QE index began the week at 11,131.43  points and closed at 11,093.12 points, demonstrating a minor change. Among the listed companies, 19 performed better than the QSE index, while 32 performed below it, showcasing a mixed market performance throughout the week.

MARKET PERFORMANCE

15 companies witnessed an increase in their stock prices, 1 remained neutral and, 35 experienced decreases.
