QC Concludes Training Programme on Gold Investment and Savings

DOHA: The Qatar Chamber (QC) concluded a four-day training programme entitled “Gold Science: Investment and Savings”, held at its headquarters.

Delivered by Dr. Hani Hamad, an economic expert specialising in the gold market, the program covered a broad range of topics aimed at deepening participants’ understanding of the gold market from both savings and investment perspectives.

Topics explored both theoretical and practical aspects of gold valuation, methods of buying and selling, and an overview of global instruments and measurement units.

The programme also provided practical analyses of gold price trends and safe investment approaches, while addressing hedging techniques, smart trading strategies, and methods for detecting common commercial fraud practices in both local and international markets.

It featured hands-on workshops that enabled participants to accurately calculate gold prices and make well-informed financial decisions based on modern economic analysis.

For her part, Fatima Issa Al Kuwari, Head of Training and Development at Qatar Chamber, emphasised the Chamber’s commitment to organising specialized training programs that address market needs, align with the aspirations of investors and entrepreneurs, and serve the business community.

She highlighted the participants’ strong engagement with both the theoretical and practical aspects of the program, noting its relevance to a wide audience, including investors and individuals interested in gold as a vehicle for savings and investment.

In turn, Dr. Hani Hamad noted that the program is the first of its kind in Qatar to focus on gold investment.

He emphasised that it provided participants with both the knowledge and practical tools necessary to understand the gold market from an investment and savings perspective.

He also praised the collaboration in raising awareness among investors and individuals.
