QC Explores Investment Opportunities in Zambia

Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari, First Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber, received Stanley Kachabe, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Zambia to Qatar.

The meeting discussed trade relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, as well as investment opportunities available in Zambia and ways to encourage Qatari investors to invest in the country.

In his remarks, Mohamed bin Twar said Qatari investors are interested in investing in Africa, which offers promising investment opportunities across various sectors. He noted that Qatar Chamber supports and encourages businesspeople to explore opportunities across the continent, particularly in Zambia, which offers attractive investment prospects.

For his part, Stanley Kachabe said that Zambia welcomes Qatari investors and provides a range of investment incentives and facilities in the mining and minerals, tourism, agriculture, energy and infrastructure sectors.He invited Qatar Chamber and Qatari businesspeople to participate in the second edition of the “Invest Zambia International Conference”, scheduled to be held from 9 to 11 December 2026.

He noted that the conference provides a valuable opportunity for Qatari investors to learn about investment opportunities in Zambia, hold B2B meetings with Zambian companies, explore partnerships in sectors such as mining, energy, agriculture, industry and infrastructure, and identify opportunities for expansion into Africanmarkets.
