QC Seeks to Enhace Trade Ties With Kuwait and Sweden

Qatar Chamber Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani received Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar HE Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Shuraim.

The two sides discussed economic and trade cooperation between Qatar and Kuwait and ways to strengthen it, as well as opportunities for cooperation between the Qatari and Kuwaiti private sectors to support bilateral trade and investment and enhance partnerships between business communities in both countries.

Both sides stressed the importance of continued communication between the private sectors and exploring new areas of cooperation that serve mutual interests and contribute to strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim also received HE Ms Josefin Simonsson Broden, Ambassador of Sweden to Qatar.

The meeting discussed economic and trade cooperation between Qatar and Sweden and ways to strengthen it, as well as opportunities for cooperation between the private sectors of both countries, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, healthcare and food security.

The two sides also discussed the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between Qatar Chamber and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, with a view to developing cooperation between the private sectors of both countries and enhancing mutual partnerships and investments.
