QC Trains Professionals in Procurement, Contracts

Qatar Chamber, in cooperation with the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QACPA), recently organised a training course titled “Government Procurement and Contracts Management”, aimed at developing professional competencies and enhancing specialised skills in government procurement and contracting.

The course covered a number of topics related to the management of government procurement, tenders, and contracts, as well as mechanisms for enhancing oversight and transparency and improving the efficiency of procurement processes, supporting institutional performance in line with best professional practices.

Fatma Issa Al Kuwari, Head of the Training and Development Section at Qatar Chamber, stated: “This initiative highlights the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to building technical capacity in public contracting regulations.

By promoting robust governance standards and financial transparency, we directly support national efforts to optimize public spending efficiency.”
