Qcb Announces Bank Holiday on March 1

The Qatar Central Bank has announced that Sunday, March 1, 2026, will be an official Bank Holiday in accordance with Amiri Decree No. 57 of 2025. 

The holiday is designated under Clause (4) of Article (4) of the decree, which outlines official working days, national occasions and public holidays in the State of Qatar. 

The decree stipulates that the Bank Holiday falls on the first Sunday of March each year. All banks and financial institutions operating in Qatar will suspend operations on the day and resume normal working hours on Monday, March 2, 2026, QCB said in a statement.
