QCB Governor Meets Governor of Central Bank of Malaysia, UBS Co-President Global Wealth Management

Bangkok, October 15 (QNA) - HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and Chairman of Qatar Investment Authority Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani met separately with HE Governor of the Central Bank of Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia) Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, and Co-President Global Wealth Management, President UBS Asia Pacific and member of the Group Executive Board Iqbal Khan, on the sidelines of the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 12 to 18 October 2026.

The first meeting reviewed key facets of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on enhancing collaboration within the financial and banking sectors, while the second meeting discussed the latest developments in global finance and investment, along with other related topics.
