QCB’s Eidiya ATM Sees QR161 Mn in Withdrawals

The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced the closure of its special “Eidiya ATM” service following strong public demand during the Eid Al Adha holiday period.

According to QCB, total withdrawals from the dedicated Eidiya ATMs exceeded QR161 million, reflecting the service’s widespread popularity among residents seeking newly issued banknotes for Eid celebrations.

The QCB said the withdrawals were made through machines installed at 10 different locations across the country, providing convenient access to currency notes traditionally exchanged as Eidiya gifts during Eid festivities.
