QICCA Vice Chairman to QNA: World Arbitration Conference to Strengthen Qatar's Position

Doha, November 03 (QNA) - HE Vice Chairman of the Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (QICCA) Dr. Sheikh Thani bin Ali Al-Thani expressed hope that discussions at the Sixth World Arbitration Conference, which opened Tuesday, would produce practical recommendations and outcomes to support and develop arbitration across the Arab world and strengthen Qatar's position in the field, in line with global developments and future needs.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), he underscored the conference's importance as a platform for highlighting key developments in arbitration.
His Excellency said the main topics include the use of artificial intelligence in arbitration, the rules and mechanisms governing its application, and the ethical considerations involved.
The Sixth World Conference on International Arbitration, organized by the Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration, affiliated with Qatar Chamber, opened earlier today under the theme "Alternative Dispute Resolution in a Changing World: From Judicial Oversight to Artificial Intelligence."
HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi inaugurated the conference in the presence of HE Chairman of Qatar Chamber and QICCA Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani, along with judges, arbitrators and legal experts from around the world.
