QIIB and Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), Visa’s advisory services arm, announced a strategic collaboration aimed at supporting QIIB’s payments growth agenda and enhancing customer engagement across its card portfolio.
This partnership underscores a shared commitment to supporting Qatar’s digital payments ecosystem and driving financial innovation while significantly enhancing the overall customerexperience.
The agreement was officially signed during a ceremony held at QIIB’s head office, in the presence of QIIB Chief Executive Officer and Dr Abdulbasit Ahmed Al Shaibei and Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for Visa across the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar FadiMoukaddem.
The contract was signed by QIIB Deputy CEO Jamal Al Jamal and Vice President and Country Manager for Visa in Qatar Luca Bianconi. The signing ceremony was also attended by several senior executives from both organisations.
The collaboration will focus on data-led portfolio management, targeted customer campaigns, cross-sell and spend migration initiatives, and sales enablement programs. It will also explore advanced consumer engagement tools, customer acquisition support, and next generation portfolio optimization initiatives designed to improve customer relevance, card usage, and long-term value creation.
