QSE Index Closes 0.54 Percent Higher
Doha, August 24 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Monday, gaining 52.34 points, or 0.54 percent, to 9,740.64 points.
A total of 152,887,763 shares were traded during the session, with a turnover of QAR 354,207,760.566 across 20,176 transactions in all sectors.
The shares of 27 companies advanced, whereas those of 19 others declined, while the shares of six companies remained unchanged.
Market capitalization rose to QAR 587,243,118,389.228, compared with QAR 583,351,549,550.752 in the previous session. (QNA)
