QSE Index Closes Higher

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 16.250 points, or 0.15 percent, to close at 10,713.350 points.

During the session, 187,036,396 shares, valued at QAR454,628,286.953, were traded in 25,156 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 17 companies rose, while 27 companies saw a decline in their share price and 8 firms maintained their previous closing price.

Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR631,714,037,446.621, compared to QAR631,809,272,240.600 in the previous session.
