QSE Index Closes Higher

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Tuesday by 66.68 points, or 0.60 percent, to reach 11,229.22 points.

During the session, a total of 135,925,828 shares were traded, with a value of QR 497,250,425.319, through 32,902 transactions across all sectors.

The session saw the shares of 32 companies rise, and those of 17 companies decline, while 3 companies maintained their previous closing price.

At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 671,717,942,432.400, compared to QR 667,900,528,614.072 in the previous session.
